Marie-Skłodowska Curie ITN: Early Stage Researcher
A Graduate Research Assistant Early Stage Researcher post is available from 1 May 2020 to 30 April 2023 funded as part of an EU H2020 Marie-Sklodowska Curie Innovative Training Network. The 3 year post includes a Joint PhD programme within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences at Exeter and the University of Copenhagen. The student will spend 25 months at University of Exeter’s Devon campus in Exeter under the supervision of Dr Bryony Williams and 8 months at the University of Copenhagen with Dr Nicolas van Vitt Meyling. You will also have a two month placement with industry partner Entec Nutrition Ltd, Exeter and a one month placement at the Julius Kühn Institute, Germany.
Dr. Kallaya Sritunyalucksana and Dr. Suparat Taengchaiyaphum, researchers from the AQHT laboratory and INSH members were cordially invited to the 1st Asian Society of Developmental and Comparative Immunology (ASDCI) Congress held from November 1st-4th 2019, in Dalian, China , which was hosted by Dalian Ocean University. ASDCI aims to provide platform to promote the communication and cooperation betweeen Asian countries in the research field of developmental and comparative immunology. For more information on ASDCI. In this conference, AQHT and INSH members presented relevant information regarding shrimp immunity, WSSV endogenous viral elements and information on gene expression involved in shrimp survival to WSSV infection.
The INFOFISH world shrimp conference 2019, was celebrated in Bangkok, Thailand from November 12th to 14th. In this conference, Dr. Kallaya Sritunyalucksana , member of INSH and leader of the AQHT laboratory was present to talk about current situation of shrimp disease in Thailand, including EHP, WSSV
On November 2019, a meeting was carried out between Dr. Kallaya Sritunyalucksana and members from the shrimp farmer cooperative from the Large Agricultural Land Plot, at Chanthaburi province.
